I officially suck

at this whole blogging thing!!! We have been pretty busy lately (that's total crap, but I'll use it!). We have two kids... our lives will always be crazy and busy!! There have been some big things going on in our life lately though!!

1. We have paid off quite a bit of debt!! Hooray!!! Thank you tax return!!
2. Preston is back!!! :) We have really missed him! Kary wouldn't let him go anywhere in the house with out her!! She loves her Uncle Preston!!

3. The girls are doing gymnastics. And boy do they love it!!!

4. Wes took me on an incredible date!! :)
He took the day off of work (I had no idea) and put a card, candy, and gift cards to get my nails done, and one to get an outfit for out DATE!!! It was a huge surprise! I mean, we had sitters for the girls, but I thought we would just hang at home (Kary had her 1st sleepover at Porter's!!)! This is the picture of the smokin' hot dress I got!! After I got all dolled up, we went and ate at the Cheesecake Factory! Yummy!!! I have such a sweet husband (when he wants to be!)! I was not expecting such a big night! I even got flowers! :)

Saints are going to the Super Bowl!

While my sister was here, we had a late Christmas/Saints game/Mardi Gras feast!! Since Amelia wasn't here for Christmas, we all got together for a big dinner! There was Gumbo, Jambalaya, Crawfish Pasta, King Cake, etc... It was DELICIOUS!! I can't wait for Amelia to come during crawfish season to bring fresh stuff home! But, the frozen ones she brought home were great!! The kids got to grill hotdogs and make smores! It was so much fun! We got a family picture of everyone! That doesn't happen often... usually only on Christmas!

It didn't really feel like it! She blew in and then blew right back out!!! She wasn't even here for a week! Being a grown up sucks... She had work to get back to in New Orleans, so couldn't stay too long. We did get to hang out a lot and the girls got to play with playdough a ton (I HATE it, so I told them Aunt Amelia really wanted to play with it!!), but it made me realize how much I miss my sister when she is gone! She really is one of my best friends (So are you Chels, don't worry.. I love both of my sisters!). We disagree on a lot of things, but she is always there for me!! :) I love my sister! Here are some pictures from her trip! Katrina said we need to take a vacation to go see Aunt Amelia... Maybe one day...

Katrina lost tooth #2!!!

On January 12th, Katrina lost her 2nd tooth!! She was very excited! She was eating a cinnamon roll at Brittney's and it was just barely holding on, so Brittney pulled it! Now she is missing TWO teeth! Crazy!!! She is growing up so fast!

Wes asked Katrina if she wanted him to pull out her tooth, and she said yes!! She has been telling everybody it's going to fall out on it's own and wouldn't let anyone touch it. So, when she said yes, Wes went with it!! :) He used a flosser to pull it out. She didn't even know it was out at first! :) She was very brave and was very happy when the tooth fairy came this morning!! Such a big kid!

HAPPY 4th ANNIVERSARY TO US!!

Wes and I just celebrated our 4th wedding anniversary on January 6!!! It has had it's ups and downs like all marriages, but I know that I love him so much more now than I did four years ago!! :)

Christmas time...

Our Christmas was a lot of fun this year. We went to Kuna and spent Christmas Eve with my family and my mom's side of the family. It was great to see everybody I haven't seen for awhile, but there were a lot of people there that I didn't know. We didn't really get to talk to family much because there were so many people and it was so loud. But, overall, it was nice to see some family and the girls had tons of fun.



Christmas morning, we went to Patty's house. I got a new set of silverware... boy is it wonderful!! :) I love it so much! And, I got a new Bible! I really wanted one, because I have still been using my teen study bible... Time for me to grow up! Then, my hubby got me a gift card to the Christian Book Store so I could buy a cover for my Bible. The girls got cute little Bible story books and toys! We had a great day! For dinner, we ate TURDUCKEN!! YUM YUM!! I am in love with the crawfish jambalaya stuffing now!! Overall, we had a wonderful Christmas. We are truly blessed! When my sister gets in town from New Orleans in a couple weeks, we are celebrating Christmas with my side of the family! :) And I am trying to get her to bring some jambalaya home!! :)
